GAME WEEK! The Stockbridge Varsity and JV football teams open up their seasons this week at home with a double header against Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian on Thursday, August 28th. The JV will start at 4:00 and the Varsity at 7:00. GO PANTHERS!
The girls’ cross-country team opened the season today at Ella Sharp park in the steeplechase relays. The team of Taylor Machette, Julia Olson, Madison Dunlap, and McKenzie Carpenter placed 7th overall with a team time of 56:50. Taylor Machette ran a 12:15, placing in the top 15 overall as an individual and earning a medal.
The Stockbridge Boys’ Cross Country team began the season today at the Michigan Center Steeplechase Relays. The relay team of Jake Chapman, Alan Baird, Kaleb Losey, and Austin Fillmore finished 2nd overall running 12000 meters in 41:38. They earned a medal for their effort. Placing in the top 15 individual times and also earning medals
The 2014 softball season was a very good season for the team as well as for some individual accomplishments. The team was able to capture the Stockbridge Invitational Tournament by defeating Lansing Sexton, Onsted, and Reading. They also were the only team in the conference to to defeat Lakewood who went on to win
Testing
Today is the last day to get your discount card. Please see an athlete or stop by the HS between 5:00 – 6:30 this afternoon to get one. The card has amazing deals from local businesses and is worth $100’s of dollars. Card is good for 1 year and costs $20.
The Football team will host a scrimmage this Thursday at Boyd Stadium. The JV team will begin at 4:00 and the Varsity at 7:00. Come out and get a sneak peak of your 2014 Panthers!
