Game Recap

The JV Lady Panthers picked up their second win in a row and their first conference win last night as they beat Maple Valley 35-16. For the second game in a row the Panthers had balanced scoring, as seven different girls recorded points. Faith Whitt led the way with 15. Paige Brown contributed 7 and Michelle Zemke added 5. “The girls need to do a better job of boxing out and limiting the opponents to one shot. We got lucky that they had a poor shooting night,” added Coach Hejnal. “But we will take a win and learn from it.”

The girls have a week off to prepare for conference foe Perry next Thursday. The win evens the JV record at 2-2 and 1-1 in the conference.
