Game Recap

Stockbridge gets handed a tough loss to Lansing Christian but stayed positive, this is the first time in school history they kept it close. Lansing started it off with three quick goals from counter kicks in the first 20 minutes. Then added another two more goals in the 30th minute of the match. Coach Young called a meeting with his defense to help get them fired up and switched out keeper Austin Perkins with Adam Twining. With little less then 7 minutes in first half, Maison Beauregard puts one in on the far left side of the goal from 40 yards out. The panthers spark was lit up as they went into the half trailing 5-1. The Start of the second half, the panthers came out roaring down the field, Lansing could not get pass Stockbridge defense. The panthers would find another goal by Maison Beauregard from assist Garret hughes, 30 minutes into the second half. Lansing Christian would start to feel the momentum leaning towards Stockbridge as the panthers would put another goal in from Jakjack Pun, assisted by Maison Beauregard. The Panthers played an amazing second half. Coach Young was pleased with his players, they didnt give up and fought to the very end. Stockbridge looks to host Charyl Stockwell academy, Thursday Sept 21 at 5:30pm
