Game Recap

Stockbridge Panther Varsity took the lead late in the game in a 7-3 victory over Concord on Thursday. The game was tied at two with Stockbridge Panther Varsity batting in the top of the fourth when Cody Friermuith singled off of Okusa, driving in one run.
Stockbridge Panther Varsity captured the lead in the first inning. Kolby Canfield drove in two when he homered in the first inning.
In the bottom of the first inning, Concord tied things up at two. Brooks’s sac fly scored one run for Concord.
Stockbridge Panther’s took the lead for good with one run in the fourth inning.
Stockbridge scored four runs in the fifth inning. Stockbridge Panther Varsity’s big inning was driven by a fielder’s choice by Alex Rose, a walk by Pj Loso, and a error.
Rose earned the win for Stockbridge Panther Varsity. He pitched five innings, allowing three runs, three hits, and striking out seven. Canfield recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Stockbridge Panther Varsity. Waldron took the loss for Concord. He tossed two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero runs, zero hits, striking out one, and walking one.
Stockbridge Panther Varsity collected six hits. Canfield and Carson Robinson each collected multiple hits for Stockbridge Panther Varsity. Robinson and Canfield each managed two hits to lead Stockbridge Panther Varsity.
Brooks went 1-for-2 at the plate as he led the team with two runs batted in. Concord stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one. G Kettwich led the way with three.
